Delicious, fresh food and friendly, responsive service! Tabla has become a frequent stop for me. The staff is great. The food is delicious and well prepared. You can request spice to your liking and they deliver. My friend and I try to keep the order varied from visit to visit, but the current fave is mixed veg pakora and lamb chops. Also, I really enjoyed and appreciated the most recent additions of the cucumber lemon beverage (so nice as it was very hot out) and the papadum! All of the dishes we have tried have been great so far! I very much recommend Tabla!
We had catered food and cake from Tabla for our birthday celebration and they provided us an impeccable service…Yubert went out of the way to provide all assistance throughout the party . Chander gave us all support to customize the food menu as per our needs and suggested the right quality and quantity so that all our guests go satisfied with the taste of the food … we are beyond happy with catering this restaurant provided us not just for this party but for many of our occasions…
If you’re vegetarian (or even if you’re not!), Tabla is one of the best spots in Atlanta for delicious, satisfying Indian food. We ordered the Paneer Butter Masala, Bhindi Haripyaaz, Veg Biryani, Naan, and Pudina Paratha — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. You can really taste the authentic Indian flavors in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a go-to place for anyone craving good vegetarian Indian cuisine in Atlanta. Highly recommend!
Latest update: Changed to five stars. I am continued to be amazed with new items in the menu every time we visit. This time cilantro chicken and tandoori soya chunks, both of were just simply mouth watering. Certainly the best Indian restaurant in the area. Apart from a standard menu, they keep changing the specials for the week. And now there is a welcome drink of cucumber juice with chia seeds and papad chips. Very thoughtful. The specials are really good. We had chhole with lacha paratha, mutton toast with Kerala porotha and tawa pomfret with rice and rasam. All were excellent. We had a family lunch on a Saturday. We were very promptly seated at a table of our choice. Staff, especially the manager was very friendly. Good selection of Andhra and north Indian food. We had cut Mirchi, naan, tandoori roti, ghongura chicken and a paneer dish. Food was good, as expected at a good Indian restaurant. I would have given 5 star, but the tandoori roti was made of all purpose flour, not wheat flour. Also I asked for extra hot, but ghongura chicken was not that hot. But it was good overall. Update after about a year: We got mycusy Haleem and ocean flavored (too salty) planner makhani. Also, main courses for 3 of us arrived at different time for each of us. Certainly not a good experience.
Okay so I gotta say this! Tabla Indian Restaurant is honestly one of the best spots I’ve eaten at around here. The food? Straight up authentic. You can taste the effort the chefs put in. Every bite hits from the regular Indian classics to even some of the Indo-Chinese dishes they’ve got on the menu. It’s not watered down or “Americanized” it’s the real deal. The vibe of the place is super clean and welcoming. It’s kid-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and just has that no-nonsense setup where you can actually enjoy your food without distractions. And the service? Chill and polite. You can tell the staff are genuinely trying their best, which matters a lot to me. But yo, the coolest thing is that right next door they have Sweet Magic, owned by the same folks. That place is basically heaven if you’re into Indian snacks or desserts. Talk about their chocolate mousse and Oreo mousse? Bro, those are next level. Cute, delicious, and something you can’t just find the same taste anywhere around here. Now, two things that really stuck with me: 1. The prices they’re super fair. Like you don’t walk out feeling ripped off. It’s affordable enough that honestly anyone could come here without stressing. 2. The washrooms sounds random, but listen… they’re probably the cleanest I’ve seen in a restaurant. Simple, no over-the-top decorations, just clean. And the glowing mirror with the lights built in? Low-key one of my favorite little details!!! . . !! Important!! And here’s something real: tipping. If you’re planning to tip (and you should, because the people here truly deserve it), don’t just drop it in the tip box or on the bill. Chances are it doesn’t always reach the actual servers. If someone takes good care of you, hand them the cash directly. As Americans or ABCDs (American Born Confused Desis) or even for us immigrants trying to build a life here; cards are an everyday thing. Back home, we all know tech can fail anytime, so carrying some change was natural. That little habit actually makes a difference here too. A couple of dollars in someone’s hand might help them cover gas, grab a meal, or chip away at convenience bills. It’s a small gesture, but it hits different to them honestly. So yeah, for me Tabla is more than just another restaurant. It’s tasty food, great service, clean vibes, and people who actually deserve the support. I’d recommend it to anyone whether you’re Indian and craving home flavors, or just someone who wants to experience real Indian food without breaking the bank. This spot is a winner in every way.
Consistently Great, and Now Even Better We’re regulars at Tabla. The food has always been fantastic, and that’s exactly why we keep coming back. But on our recent visit, we had a noticeably elevated experience thanks to this young man, Mohammed AB. He’s the young, energetic guy wearing the hilarious T-shirt that said: “I’m not fat. I’m just easy to see.” His personality instantly made the evening more fun. What stood out even more was his genuine hospitality friendly, humble, and especially kind while talking with our kids. We had already decided what to order, but AB described other options with such enthusiasm that we ended up trying more dishes than planned. And honestly? Zero regrets. Everything was delicious and completely worth it big respect to the chef. The owner remains as welcoming and friendly as ever, which is why this place has such a loyal crowd. If you want great food backed by people who truly care about your dining experience, Tabla is the spot. We’ll happily keep coming back even more often now that we know AB is around during weekends!
This is our go to place from past 3 years since we moved to Charlotte. We were never even slightly disappointed with their taste. We took lot of our visiting guests for dine in and they as well really liked the taste. I would highly recommend below vegetarian items on menu. Veg Manchurian Paneer Tikka Masala Malai Kofta Bread basket Mango lassi Staff (Chandra, John / James and others) is also very nice and provides excellent service.
